When planning your elopement on the Oregon Coast, one of the most exciting parts, in my opinion, is looking for a place to stay! You may already be looking, so let me help! As an Oregon Coast Elopement Photographer, I know a few hidden gems.
One of the most important things to consider for your elopement is having a great place to stay or home base. There are a lot of really cool stays along the coast that will make or break your experience.
Try to look for the following characteristics in your rental:
Did you know that AirBnb does not allow for parties? If you are planning to have a small reception during your stay, your best bet will be to rent a Vrbo. I have a few of both listed below. If you do choose to host a small gathering at your home base, be sure to ask the host or owner of the property before booking. Most of the time they are just fine with it but you never want to chance anything.
Here are a few of my favorites so that you can skip Googling
The Forest Cabin – Neskowin – Listed on Airbnb – Sleeps up to 4 guests

A cozy home base for just the two of you to be able to relax. Large windows all the way around will make your getting ready photos super dreamy. Surrounded by forest, you can have a first look just outside your place. Not far from Lincoln City, God’s Thumb and Cape Kiwanda.
Heartland Treehouse – Langlois – Listed on Airbnb – Sleeps 2 guests

If rustic charm with a modern touch is your cup of tea, this could be the place for you. This treehouse on the Southern Coast has a waterfall on the property and offers outdoor side-by-side ceramic bathtubs (steamy post-elopement couples session?) Super romantic for outdoorsy couples. Not far from Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor.
